So the recipe...
Bolognese - Makes 6/8 portions so ideal for the bolognese/chilli change up.
Ingredients
1kg of extra lean mince - I used Musclefoods tasty grass fed steak mince.
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic, diced
200g of grated carrot
x2 large bottles of Passata
Beef stock cube, crumbled in
x6 mushrooms, chopped
2 tsp oregano
Handful of fresh parsley
Dash of Worcester sauce
Salt and Pepper
Method
Heat a little oil or low cal spray in a pan on a medium heat.
Add the mince and cook for a few minutes
Add the diced onion and garlic and fry for a few more minutes.
Once the meat is starting to brown, throw in the mushrooms, carrot, beef stock, oregano, salt, pepper and parsley.
After a minute, add the Passata and simmer for 15 minutes.
Right so now you have a big batch of bolognese. This is perfect for the whole family or for your dinner then lunches for the next few days.
Now with a bit of magic, we will turn this into a tasty family friendly Chilli.
