Ingredients 1 Lean Rump Steak - 0.5 tsp of Garlic Powder 0.5 tsp of Paprika 0.5 tsp of Onion Powder Dash of Mild Chilli Powder Salt and Pepper

2 Potatoes - Chopped into Chip

1/4 Small Onion - Finely Chopped 2 Gherkins - Chopped Handful of Shredded Lettuce

3 tbsp Thousand Island Dressing/Sauce 30g low fat cheese

Method The Chips...

Peel, chop and rinse in cold water. Put them in a pan of boiling water and boil for 5 minutes. Drain, pat dry with kitchen roll and let rest for a few minutes. Pre heat oven to around 180c. Spray some low cal spray on a oven tray, place the chips on the tray and spray the chips again. Season with salt and pepper. Oven cook for around 30 minutes, turning occasionally. The Steak...

Add the spices into a bowl and mix. Rub the steak with a little olive oil or spray with some low cal spray then rub the spice mix on either side of the steak. Heat the pan on a high heat and then add the steak. Turn the pan down slightly and cook for around 3 minutes one side, 2 minutes the other depending on size of the steak. Once cooked, let it rest on a plate for around 10 minutes whilst you finish off the dish. The Dirty Fries.. Just before the chips are ready, add a little low cal spray in a pan and put in the finely chopped onion and cook on a medium heat for a few minutes. Add the Gherkin, stir then take off the heat. Once the chips are done, lightly season and place them in a oven proof serving bowl. Pour the onion and gherkin mix on top then sprinkle the cheese on top. Place in the oven for around 5 minutes until the cheese melts. Take the dish out, sprinkle a handful of shredded lettuce on top then drizzle the sauce on top of the chips. Cut the steak and serve on the side of the chips. I really hope you enjoy this one! Joe
