Curried Turkey Burgers | Fat Loss Feast

It's Friday Night Fakeaway Time!! This time, we are cooking up an Indian flavour inspired turkey burger. Oh and thank you so much for being part of the Fat Loss Feast page, I really do appreciate every single one of you. Burger Mix Serves 4 Each burger made up is around 380 calories. Prep everything before cooking to make it easier on yourself which is vital when you're aiming to consistently eat healthy.

Ingredients 500g of lean Turkey Mince 1 Egg Yolk 1/2 Red Pepper, finely chopped Small handful of chopped Coriander 2 tsp of Curry Powder

Salt and Pepper

1 small Onion, grated

2 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped

1 tsp of Garam Masala 1 tbsp of Tomato Puree

1 tsp of Chilli Powder 1 tbsp of low fat Natural Yoghurt Tomato Lettuce Bagel Thin or Wholemeal Bread bun per burger, Toasted

Method In a bowl, mix the mince, egg yolk, red pepper, coriander, curry powder, salt and pepper until evenly mixed through. Make 2 thin burger patties per serving. Keep any left overs to grill the next few days for lunches. Brush the burgers with a little oil or spray with some low cal spray and heat a pan to a medium heat. At the same time, add some low cal spray or oil to another pan and start to gently cook off the onion and garlic. Add the burgers to the other pan and cook for around 6/7 minutes each side, occasionally flipping. After around 6 minutes, add the tomato puree to the onions and garlic as well with he chilli powder and garam masala. You want it to be around a chutney consistency so add a little warm water if too thick. Stir and let that simmer until the burgers are cooked. Toast the bagel thin, add the lettuce and tomato, add the burger and then mix in a spoon full of yoghurt to the onion mixture and then top the burger with it. Serve with a big side salad for a very tasty and low calorie Indian inspired burger. I hope you enjoy this one.
